Individual apps crash or stop responding: Solve Android phones

Is your favorite app crashing, getting stuck or not starting at all? If it happens for the first time that the app has hung up or can no longer be opened, restarting the smartphone often helps. If the problem recurs, find out in the Google Play Store whether an update is available for the application, because the problems are often already known to the manufacturers. If not, try clearing the app cache. You can do this under "Settings -> Options -> Application Manager". Select the relevant app here and tap on it. Under the "Cache" item you will find the "Clear cache" button. If the problems occurred due to insufficient storage space, the app now works again. However, this is only a short-term solution because the cache memory fills up with application data over time. If this approach does not fix the problem permanently, delete the entire app data in the application manager. However, all data that was saved on your smartphone in combination with this application will be lost. If none of these measures lead to success, you only have to uninstall and reinstall the application. However, it is always advisable to also inform the respective app developer about the problem.
